Last year's Young Achiever finally gets her reward

Post operation complications meant that our winner of the Bexhill Rotary Young Achiever Award 2024, could not receive her prize till 2025.
Maisie receives her prize for the
Young Citizen Award
The photo shows Maisie receiving a gift voucher for two to visit Alton Towers. Maisie has overcome major surgery for cancer and during her treatment and recovery she started making bracelets which she sold to raise money for the Charity Children with Cancer. Although presented with her award in May 2024 post-operative issues meant that she was unable to take advantage of the theme park prize until now. Maisie visited the club 31st May 2024 when she received a trophy as a Young Achiever. The Alton Tower gift voucher is the prize that accompanied the award, which she is only now well enough to make use of - hence the delay in its presentation.
