International Service Report to 2025 AGM

.

This past year has been has been relatively quiet. Our project in Malawi has been continuing and we are awaiting final accounts and project narrative.

The work on the ground has been well received and good progress is being made in respect of spreading the building techniques around the local area. The environmental work is also proving to be successful, in particular the growing of edible plants using recycled water.

The Club also agreed to purchase a ShelterBox Plus. In addition it's worth mentioning that a handful of members have been collecting steps via the Treekly app and thus planting mangrove trees in Africa. 1865 trees planted to date by the Club Group.

Aileen continues to visit Rotary Clubs and other organisations to spread the word on the campaign to End Polio as the District End Polio Now Officer.
