Our Ananya at the National Young Musician Awards
A small group of us went to support our young singer at the National Finals of Young Musician
Our picture shows Ananya Kailasam with her accompanist Gill Ford at the National Finals of the Young Musician.
Although Ananya did not win, she gave a fantastic performance of her three songs, Burn, by Lin Manuel Miranda, What more do I need, Stephen Sondheim and a New Life, by Frank Wildhorn.
The overall standard was very high and the day was like a professional concert!! There was much cheering for our contestant and not only by us!
Epsom Rotary supporters were Tony Axelrod, Leslie Axelrod, Maggie Rowell and Clive Richardson.
