Rotary Donates £500 to Sight Matters Young Persons Club - Spring 2025

The Club's Charitable Trust has donated £500 to support local charity Sight Matters for their Young Persons Club.

Sight Matters looks after the interests of more than 700 people with serious sight loss on the Isle of Man. It is devoted to supporting people with sight loss so that they are able to lead the lives they want.

They provide all of their services free at the point of delivery and they do not differentiate on the grounds of circumstance or financial position.

They are a caring specialist support organisation. Some of their services operate from their headquarters in Onchan; others, including assessments, can be undertaken in people's homes by staff or volunteers.

The Young Persons Club operates as an activity club once a week out of term time and monthly during school terms. These activities are all designed to develop confidence and independence. Most importantly, they allow young members to have fun.
