Rotary Young Musician Competition

First round
The local round of the Rotary Young Musician Competition was held recently in Madras College. Winner of the instrumental section was Daniel Armstrong -cello., and the vocal section, Robert Hutchinson.
Both will now go forward to the next round in Dundee on 15 February. Adjudicators were Ann Baird and Gordon Duncan with
accompanist Ruth Irons. Thanks go to them and to all the competitors, and to Madras for hosting the competition.
