Phoenix Cup Disabled Golfers Tournament

Annual competition between USA and Europe for golfers of all disabilities.

St Andrews Rotary Club were pleased to give financial support to this annual event for disabled golfers.

It was humbling to see blind golfers and some golfers with only one leg or one arm.  Their determination to cope with their various disabilities on the St Andrews Links golf courses showed real ingenuity.

Jim Gales was captain of the European team and was delighted to retain the throphy by beating the USA.
