The club responded to the appeal for assistance from the local branch of the Salvation Army in Wellwood's for their Toy Appeal this Christmas.
Thank you to members who has provided monetary and toy donations for the above appeal.
Just to let those who have given monetary donations know, the Salvation Army are quite happy to receive donations of this type as it allows them to go out and buy toys at the last minute to plug any age gaps in donations received before wrapping and distribution.
The delivery of donated toys was duly made to the Salvation Army and they were most appreciative of the club’s continuing support.

Last year, they distributed nearly 500 gifts in Dunfermline! In 2024, they are expecting the number of families requesting help to rise as a result of the cost of living crisis.
Salvation Army churches and centres across Fife will be working together and running the Christmas Present Appeal, collecting donated presents until mid-December. They also willingly accept monetary donations as this enables them to go out and buy presents for age groups that are often more difficult to buy for.
