Youth Speaks Competition
The meeting of Kendal Rotary on 11th November was different to the normal meeting. Instead it hosted the annual Youth Speaks Competition involving Schools from around the area. Eight teams took part which in turn, had to debate a topic of their choosing. In a very close battle, Cartmel School won the senior event debating the pros and cons of ‘Assisted Dying’ with Queen Katherine School, Kendal winning the Intermediate event discussing ‘School Meals’.
