Donation to Basics Essex - 19.9.24

At our Social evening on Thursday 19th September 2024 at The Horse & Groom, a cheque for £500 was presented to James Samouelle of Basics Essex by Joint-President Andrew Clarkson,. James had given a talk to members previously at a Partner's Evening.

The main theme of the evening was a Musical Quiz, created by Friend of Ingatestone Rotary, Geoff Walker. Geoff was on holiday, so Andrew acted as quizmaster. The questions were to identify the Title of the music played/ Film Name / Singer(s)/ etc.  Noelle & Jon proved very knowledgeable, and with help from Jean & James, their table were runaway winners. The evening prove great FUN - the aim of these socials.
