Share Skipton

Share Skipton is a Library of Things located at 48 Newmarket Street in Skipton. A Library of Things is like a normal library but, instead of books, we lend items like leaf blowers, tents, drills, disco balls and more.


Our mission is to:

  • Establish and run a Library of Things, which lends items to our communities at an affordable cost;
  • Establish and run initiatives to share, repair and create;
  • Encourage and enable our communities to share resources, reduce waste, repair and reuse more, and promote a circular economy.
We are now open for borrowing - with over 260 items available to our members.
