Sadly Barry Turner died on 12th February 2024 .

This event was entirely managed by Barry Turner - he had all the contacts for the large player base and particularly through his son, Phillip [ now in Dubai]. He also spent an inordinate amount of time in organising the event. Unfortunately, for the present, no member of our club is willing to make the committment, so the event is unlikely to be run again.

Over the 23 years, around £150,000 was raised for numerous charities and causes.
