Twenty Questions

We reported previously that we were doing a quiz jointly with the Quilters Junior School Eco-Group to raise money for Borewells in Kenya.  The quiz contained 20 questions, ten on general “water” knowledge, and ten specific to the Borewell project.

So the children could answer the “Borewells” questions, Peter Greene and Stephen King, did another presentation about the Borewells project, hidden within it were the answers to all the project specific quiz questions!

Headteacher Mike Wade exhorted the children to support their eco-group by entering the quiz.  He incentivised them by promising that the prizes for the first three completed correct quizzes would be his commitment to do one homework for each prize-winner.

The Quiz is now over, and we are delighted to report that £50 has been raised, all of which will all go to Embu County to complete repairs and maintenance of the wells in the Primary Schools.
