On Tuesday 2nd July 15 Rotarians and friends were pleased to hear a talk from one of our own Members, Mark Thomson, about the complementary medicine known as Reiki

A hundred years ago, Mikao Usui, the Japanese founder of Reiki, described Reiki as the “art of inviting happiness”

It is an easy to learn technique that can be learnt by anyone - usually done by the laying on of hands. L


The benefits of Reiki are as follows:

·      bring balance to mind, body, and spirit           

·      reduce stress and anxiety and panic attacks

·      help you be more relaxed

·      relieve pain from physical ailments

·      improve your sleeping

·      strengthen your immune system
