The speakers Monday 17th June were Past President Philip Hoyle and Lhakpa Sherpa who gave the club an update on our long running support for Khiraule, a village in Nepal which suffered heavily in the recent Earthquakes. Having already helped to fund a new school, we are currently helping to fund a new Community Centre which is now nearing completion and will benefit not only the village, but all the local area. The continuing project is to see the Hall fully furnished and put to use and it is hoped that some Rotarians will be able to visit the village soon.
