The Dragon Boat Challenge Results are in!

Another brilliant day of Dragon Boat Racing at Basin 2 of Chatham Maritime on Sunday 26th May 24 saw 33 teams battling it out on the waters alongside the Chatham Maritime Food & Drink Festival.

The day culiminated in the two Finals with "The Salt Shaker", winning the Minor Final and "Enter the New Snogard", representing WCB Utilities Ltd, the ultimate winners of the Major Final.

The top three teams in each Final received medals at the concluding Presentation Ceremony held on the Bandstand and Gary Jacobs the Captain of the Salt Shaker lifted the Medway Sunlight Rotary Club's President's Trophy.  

WCB Utitlities in turn received the Clive Memorial Trophy from Kelly Tolhurst, MP for Rochester & Strood as out-right winners of the 2024 Dragon Boat Challenge!  Congratulations to them for retaining the trophy they won in 2023.
