Skipton Rotary is excited to announce that it will be hosting its third ECO Day on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Skipton Town Hall, running from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. This highly anticipated event aims to promote environmental awareness and inspire the community to take action for a healthier planet.
Preparations are well underway, with a diverse range of exhibitors already signed up, including local beekeepers, wildlife trusts, and representatives from Skipton Town Council and Library. Attendees can look forward to a variety of interactive activities suitable for all ages, as well as a series of enlightening talks that will address the environmental challenges we face and the steps individuals can take to support nature.
In collaboration with Beyondly, one of our generous sponsors, ECO Day will also feature a clothes swap, encouraging participants to recycle, reuse, and repurpose their wardrobe instead of opting for new purchases.
Additionally, the Craven College Catering School will be contributing to the day's festivities by offering baked goods for sale, made with Fair Trade ingredients.
