Beach Clean 2024 update

well done to everyone that helped.


Over 50 people attended the Prestwick Beach Clean 2024, including the 14th Ayrshire Beavers, the Air Cadet Group and the many other willing volunteers. The whole event went very smoothly, despite the weather..

Special thanks to Allan for looking after the Newton on Ayr area and Donald and Andrew for transporting the waste. Also to Gregor and Sheila for covering Prestwick South Beach shoreline

Prestwick Rotary are very grateful for everyone's help. The beach and dunes will look a lot better for a while and help the local environment. About 50 bags of rubbish were filled.

The Rotary Club of Prestwick appreciates the help and support from South Ayrshire Council Walker Road Depot staff for supplying bags and pickers and for uplifting the rubbish bags at the end.
