Fun Walk Publicity

It’s early 2024, and what popped into our mailbox but an invitation from the Billericay Fun Walk organisers to participate in the 2024 virtual Fun Walk which will run through September.  We are encouraged to sign up now at: www.thefunwalktrust.co.uk/registration.  Of course, as a long term supporter of this event we have already registered.

The next Fun Walk Press Release will officially launch the event, and we expect to see the Rotary Club of Billericay included in it as one of the organisations planning to take part.

Press Release

The invitation included a link to the Fun Walk 2023 Press Pack that shares some of the wonderful Media coverage of that the event, which participants and sponsors received last year.  “Our congratulations go to all the amazing organisations that took part and made it another great year.”

Our support and participation is well recognised in the press pack in four places on the front page, and inside the press pack on Page 5.  This page also includes a direct three-page spread from our September 2023 Newsletter.
We look forward to another highly successful event in 2024.

What is in store?

Distance: Either 2 Km. (suitable for families, toddlers and the disabled) or 5 Km. (We do 5 Km.)
Location: Anywhere, at any time during September.  Anywhere means anywhere - including the garden, living room, or up and down the stairs.
