Prestwick Rotarian Andy Mathieson was presented recently with a well deserved Paul Harris award by District 1320 Governor Narek Bido.

The Paul Harris Award is named after the founder of Rotary and is only given to Rotarians who have shown outstanding service on behalf of Rotary.

Andy joined Prestwick Rotary 41 years ago. Then moved to Glasgow North/Kirkintilloch before going through to Fife with work. He returned to Prestwick and Prestwick Rotary in 2017 and since has been President, Treasurer and now Secretary.
Andy is a prodigious worker for Prestwick Rotary at the heart of all our activities, and is so committed to the town and supporting the community and people.

The picture shows Andy, Narek and Prestwick Rotary President Gregor Purdie with the Paul Harris Award. Andy said, "thanks to all my friends for this wonderful honour." Andy received a hearty round of applause from all the members.
