On Friday 17 May, the Rotary Club of Bexhill, together with friends and family, enjoyed a lively evening of barn dancing! The venue was the delightful Manor Barn in Bexhill old town which provided plenty of room for ‘dosey do-ing’ and 'stripping the willow'! The dances were expertly called by Pat and Colin King, who made sure that instructions were clear and dances easy to follow. Ages ranged from a young teen to an 85 year old Rotarian (who only sat out for one dance!) – it really was fun for all the family! After about 45 minutes of dancing, the Manor Barn put on a welcome buffet of sandwiches, wraps, crisps and very delicious ‘chip shop chips’! Once re-energised, the dancing continued with dances such as ‘Oxo Reel’ and ‘Pat-a-cake Polka!’ all of which were great fun and exercised the body and brain!
