£1600 raised for President’s Charities
Pancreatic Cancer UK and Norfolk and Waveney MIND were the two charities chosen by Bronwen Moran as her President’s charities during her year of office.
In November she determined to walk at least two miles each day whatever the weather and use this as an opportunity to publicise her charities and raise some money in sponsorship. The total that she raised was approximately £1600 (including gift aid) which amounts to £800 for each of the charities. She walked 117 miles in the course of 30 walks. This was recorded on her mobile phone as shown.
