The speaker at the meeting of Kendal Rotary Club on 27th November was one of our own members, Margaret Belk, who ran a workshop on something which is becoming ever more important and we need to be more aware of as a club and its implications. This is ‘safeguarding’, and she gave us four scenarios highlighting a number of ways in which this can happen and asked us to discuss how we would tackle the problems and who we would need to contact to report our worries.
