Visit to Gan Yam Brewery in Kendal

Following the traditional meeting of Kendal Rotary Club  on 20^th November,  the members visited one of Kendal’s newest breweries in the town, the ‘Gan Yam’ brewery which has only recently opened.  They were given a guided tour of the works and had the whole process explained to them. This was followed by a tasting session of four of the brews currently in production and then had the opportunity to purchase as many cans as they wanted. The beer was excellent and ranged from a pale ale at 3.9% to a dark heavy porter at 7.1%. All were delicious!
