Boot, Craft and Produce Fairs in 2023
Including Rotary stall sales and money in donation buckets, money totalling £6,143 was raised at the seven Seaford Rotary Boot, Craft and Produce Fairs in 2023, second only to the money raised in 2018.
Seaford Rotary would like to express our grateful thanks to the community of Seaford for your support in helping us raise this wonderful sum which will be used to support local charitable and international Rotary projects.
Surprisingly, no Fairs were lost to the weather despite all the periods of heavy rain during several summer months. Each Sunday on which the Rotary Fairs were held, a window of bright and dry weather arrived.
This year, the total number of stalls at the seven Fairs was 502. The record number of stalls in a calendar year is 549 in 2018.
The October Boot, Craft and Produce Fair held on 1st October set record with 91 stalls filling the West Martello Field. The previous best for an October Fair was 62 in both 2015 and 2018.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
The first Fair of 2024 is planned to be held on Sunday 7th April. Subsequent Fairs are planned to be held on the first Sunday of each month until October.
