Open Night - Hugh Dixon speaks about "The Making and Saving of Seaton Delaval Hall"

Thu, Aug 6th 2009 at 12:00 am - 2:00 am

Hugh Dixon represents the National Trust, which is feverishly campaigning to fund restoration of this important part of North East heritage. NB. Venue: The Mansion House

Seaton Delaval Hall, a house of national importance, was created for one of the most talented and spirited families in Northumbrian history. Twice built, twice burnt, twice saved, the place has been open to visitors since 1950; and it is the intention of Lord Hastings and the local community and the National Trust that it should continue to be so.
