For our Purple4Polio campaign in Swindon, we are going to plant 4,000 purple crocus corms at TWIGS Community Garden, SN2 2QJ, on Saturday 7th October.
In March/April 2024 all the purple crocuses will be in bloom.
Rotary started its campaign to rid the world of polio in 1985 and at that time Polio was endemic in 125 countries. Today, it’s in only two: Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Polio cases across the world have been reduced by 99.9% and over 2.5 billion children have been immunised.
The world stands on the brink of the complete eradication of Polio.
Please support us in our Purple4Polio campaign in Swindon this Autumn and next Spring..
