Wetheringsett Garden Party for END POLIO NOW

Rotarians attended a garden party hosted by John and Nusia Cooper in aid of the Rotary International Foundation Appeal for END POLIO NOW. This will be followed later in October with a street collection in Diss on End Polio Now Day. Every £1 we raise is topped up by a further £2 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. As a result of our work since 1985 Polio has nearly been eradicated and is present now in only 3 remote locations worldwide. http://www.rotarygbi.org/our-causes/end-polio-now/ 

As well as enjoying a sumptuous meal we were treated to entertainment by a local eukalale band.
