The Price of a Fish Supper

Prestwick Rotarians were treated to an exclusive preview of a short play by Catherine Czerkawska called "The Price of a Fish Supper" recently.
Local resident and actor, Ken O'Hara plays Rab, an ex fisherman in extracts from his one man show. He told us how he gets into Rab's character by putting on his shoes first before adding the rest of his outfit.
Rab's fortunes have declined along with the fishing industry in which he has worked all his life, but now he eyes a glimpse of hope. Lots of questions followed from a delighted audience with a vote of thanks from Adnan Soojeri to Ken for a wonderful insight into his one man performance.
We all wish him the very best for the forthcoming shows, which will be at The Cutty Sark, Ayr on the 26th and at The Bothy, River Garden on 27th August.
Picture shows Ken as "Rab" flanked by President Gregor Purdie and Jim Nichol.
