The annual Prestwick Rotary BBQ was hosted recently at Chez Edith featuring the Clubs new sturdy marquee to keep the weather out. However we were lucky and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves in the sunshine. Over 20 members had a brilliant afternoon of games, great banter, food, drink and fellowship.”
Maid Marion had the highest score in the Archery competition but lost out in a play-off to John Brebner. Nigel won the booby prize of a coconut while Marion's Pavlova was very tasty and went down well with everybody.“
A special thanks to Edith for hosting the event and making a huge effort to ensure we all had a great time. Also thanks to everyone who helped with the preparation and cooking of the food on the day and to all who set up and dismantled the marquee.
