The speaker at the meeting of Kendal Rotary on 31st July was one of their own members, Past President Roger Downing, who gave a talk on ‘Simple Aeronautics’. He asked all members to make a paper aeroplane followed by a competition to see who could get it closest to a bottle of whiskey. We were all rubbish apart from Andy Cannon who got within 6 inches and thus claimed the prize.
