Thank you to Catherine and her team from Inspero!
It was a great evening, a lot of fun and I think we all learned something new. Some of us even walked away with a prize! (but its not all about the winning!)
Inspero promotes healthy eating and living through our food growing, baking and cooking programmes: Love2Grow:Love2Bake;Love2Cook. We also run Forest School classes including outdoor cooking for local children helping them to learn about nature and the outdoors. We work with all young people, particularly young people from disadvantaged communities in Basingstoke, inspiring them to achieve in life.
We aim to rebuild the connection between growing and cooking food.
We run affordable cooking, forest school and horticultural classes for young people and adults, young people’s classes are on Saturday’s and during the week as after school activities. The adult classes are part of our Green Therapy programme which happens on a Friday at our award winning Kempshott Community Garden.
Membership is £5 joining fee. Our horticulture classes are £4 and Forest School and cooking classes are £4 – £5 per child per class.
