A NEW CLUB YEAR, A NEW PRESIDENT
Croydon club members welcomed their new President, Loraine Davis at the Handover lunch on 27 June 2023
President Loraine Davis, seen with outgoing President Patricia Painting, was inducted as the Club's President for 2023-2024 at the Handover lunch on 27 June 2023.
Patricia, who had been club president during COVID, and had spent the year 2021-2022 on Zoom, said what a difference it had been to be able to preside over 'live' meetings, with the pleasure of seeing everyone in person. She thanked Loraine for her support of the past year and wished her every success for the year ahead.
Loraine outlined her plans for the year and confirmed that the Club would continue to support the Croydon Health Charity.
The Officers for the 2023-2024 are President Elect John Cheetham, Vice President Peter Spalding, Secretary Barbara Harker and Treasurer Colin Coates.
