Bodmin Rotary Club would just like to say a big thank you to all of the wonderful people who volunteer to make the Annual Fireworks Display such an amazing event. Although the weather was a challenge, more than 6000 people came to the event last night and enjoyed an incredible display. But without the fantastic folks who get cold and wet and give up a lot of their own time this simply would not happen. And it is a not for profit event so local charities will also benefit. Our own Bodmin Rotary members were out in force but there are lots of other organisations who take part. And a very special thank you to Pete Ford (Chairman) and Jessica Finemore (Secretary) and the Fireworks Committee who work tirelessly throughout the year to make sure the town can enjoy this special night safely.

About the event
The Joint Committee Bodmin Fireworks was formed to arrange a bonfire and fireworks display each year on the 5th of November at an affordable family price. No charity or commercial fundraising except those providing facilities.
If any profits are made the proceeds will be distributed to local yout organisations.
The committee is made up of members from Bodmin Rotary, Bodmin Lions, Bodmin
RFC, Bodmin Football Club, BTC and members of prominent businesses in the town
and surrounding parishes. Our sole aim is to put on a safe and
inexpensive display each year.
Our event will be lead by a local MC. Food will be served by 1st Castle Canyke
Scout Group and 3rd Bodmin Scouts in both sides of the site. Bodmin Football
Club will be open for bar sales.
Bonfire will begin from 7.00pm. Fireworks at 7.30pm
Our fireworks display is a not for profit event, therefore any money we do make
gets donated to these groups, who are based within the town of Bodmin and the
surrounding areas. Please support our charities by NOT buying from street
sellers. Bodmin Lions will be selling lights etc in Priory car park next to the
cycle hire hut. STREET SELLERS ARE NOT SUPPORTING OUR EVENT IN ANY WAY.
Ticket sales in 2022 was approx.. 7000 and meant that The Joint Committee presented a
surplus profit £10,000 to 42 local groups and charities.
Gates open at 5pm. But remember - no sparklers and no dogs, but always wrap up
warm.
