CHAS
talk from Alison Rennie
Our speaker last week was Alison Rennie from Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). She travelled all the way from Fife to present her talk on CHAS whose main centres are Rachel House in Kinross, and Robin House in Baloch.
CHAS has been offering full family support for babies, children and young people with life shortening for over 30 years. Their centres are designed to be colourful, fun places, to help cope with the tough, emotive situations surrounding the palliative care of children.
Allan Dunlop gave Alison a warm vote of thanks for her excellent presentation. She in turn thanked us for being such a warm, welcoming group. Prestwick Rotarian Chris Rutter is pictured right, with her guest speaker Alison.
