2023 06 Himalayan Balsam Clearance

On Sat 10 and Sat 17 June, 2 groups of 6 Midhurst & Petworth Rotarians joined the Midhurst Green Volunteers on the banks of the River Rother to pull out as many of the invasive Himalayan Balsam plants as possible.  This activity was led by Graham Pooley and Alain Mardle.

This is the second year that this has been done and we were heartened to see that the areas covered last year were almost devoid of any Himalayan Balsam plants.  What will there be for us next year?
