A  talk by ”TVConwy”

On Tuesday 4th April 2023, the Rotary Club of Llandudno held an evening talk at Maesdu Golf Club on the work of "TVConwy". 19 members and friends attended the event.

TVConwy, founded 10 years ago and based in Conwy itself, serves all of the Conwy County

. Their aim is to give volunteers of all ages experience in media and to provide coverage of events for local organisations. Their motto is "Keeping it local; sending it global". You can find them on Facebook here https://www.facebook.com/groups/483648898348834

The evening included a screening of the video that TV Conwy had made to promote the local homeless charity Hope Restored; the video was funded by a modest grant that our Club had made to TV Conwy in 2022.

President Elect Tris Owen moved the vote of thanks on behalf of the Club, thanking the joint speakers Debbie Braden and Anna-Marie Munro  for their welcome return to the Club after their last visit of six years ago and for outlining all they had achieved since that time

In summary, the talk on the work of "TV Conwy" was well-attended and informative. The Rotary Club of Llandudno is committed to supporting local organisations like TVConwy, and we encourage everyone to learn more about the valuable work they do.
