Fun had by all at the Sheerness St George's Family Fun Day
In partnership with the Inner Wheel club of the Isle of Sheppey, the Rotary Club of The Isle of Sheppey (RCIOS), ran a publicity and recruitment stand at the Family Fun day in Sheerness.
Armed with a gazebo, a load of leaflets and a number of sideshow games, the team had a great day.
President Stewart Travers said:
"We had setup the “splat the rat” and “hoop-la “for the kids, and they loved it. We had children with their Mums and Dads around us for much of the time. We of course instructed the kids on how to catch the rat, and they all won small prizes. ( sweets and small soft balls).
At the event, all of the main charity groups were represented. It had a good feel about it. Clowns, stilt walkers doing juggling with balls. Music and food tents."
