Chew Valley Primary Schools Rotary Football Tournament 2023
Sixteen girls and boys teams from Chew Valley Primary Schools took part in the Annual Football Competition at Chew Valley School on Tuesday 7th March.
The teams were divided into two girls leagues and two boys leagues and every team played matches against all the teams in their league. All matches were refereed by PE students from Chew Valley School. At the end of the afternoon, Rotarian John Palmer presented the Cups to the winners of each league and Medals to all members of the winning teams.
The winning teams were:-
Division One (Boys):- Winford Primary
Division One (Girls):- Bishop Sutton Primary
Division Two (Boys):- Stanton Drew Primary
Division Two (Girls):- Pensford Primary
The Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge has sponsored this competition by providing the Cups and Medals for a number of years and is pleased that it is so enthusiastically contested by so many schools.
