Tree of Joy taken down (22 January 2023)
The Rotary Elves were out in force this morning and the Tree of Joy has been taken down successfully and packed away for another
year.
Fortunately after a spell of poor weather, that postponed
proceedings for a few weeks, the weather was dry and
crisp with no wind which allowed the crane to operate.
Essential maintenance work will now be done to ensure that the Tree of Joy shines brightly for Christmas 2023 to launch the campaign for Christmas presents for those children in need.
