The Rotary Club of Prestwick guest speaker Matt Smith (SOE Expeditions founder) gave us a talk about his groups upcoming "Heroes of Telemark" escape route re-enactment and his supporters "Who Dares Cares", "Keela Tactical Commando Spirit Whisky" and "Spartan Blades".

He will be joining a team to re-enact the 'Heroes of Telemark ' war adventure in Norway of 80 years ago. Matt is ex Special Forces, and the team will retrace the 340 mile survival escape route, taken from the Telemark heavy water plant, to safety in Sweden.
All funds raised will go to the forces charity 'Who Dares Cares.' Matt gave a great illustrated talk on his army career, and subsequent adventure companies.
He is shown here offering a bottle of whisky, with dressed-up Rotarian adventurer Mike Kelly. Matt will be back to tell us about his adventures on his charity hike from Telemark to Sweden.
