ROTARY PLEDGES FUNDS FOR TURKEY

Along with Rotary worldwide, Bexhill Rotary Club President Perry Puddefoot announced support this week for Turkey by pledging £590 for a ShelterBox.

ShelterBox began in 2000 as a Cornish Rotary Club’s millennium project, but with the support of Rotarians and Rotary clubs around the world ShelterBox grew to become an internationally recognised and independent disaster relief organisation.  Since 2012 ShelterBox and Rotary have been official Project Partners in disaster relief.

Perry Puddefoot also announced that £90 is being given to King Offa School in Bexhill for a tree and a further £500 to the charity Warming Up The Homeless.

From Bexhill Rotary’s 2022 Christmas collections, Perry announced that £1,500 is being donated to the local Sea Cadets, another £1,500 goes to Hastings & Bexhill Mencap, and finally £1,000 will go to Bexhill Food Bank.
