Ukrainian Singers lift our spirits for Christmas
Ukrainian refugees and a local pianist treated us to some Operatic songs
At our annual Christmas party we had fun and games as always, but we were treated to something extra special this year…. some Ukrainian refugees had joined forces with a local pianist and created a small set of Operatic songs – some Ukrainian and some in English (a language they have only just started learning!).
Birgitta is a local pianist and accompanied Tatiana and Natalia. Tatiana was born in Moldova. Both lived in Ukraine. Natalia sang for state opera and Tatiana was a professor of music. Both came to the UK bringing one child each.
