The Rotary Club of Prestwick have been fortunate to obtain some funding support from Prestwick and Villages Locality Planning Partnership.

This money will support a community project whereby we will be making up six memory boxes, made up of a variety of everyday items, which will trigger memories of the past. These boxes will be freely available for local groups, or individuals to borrow, to stimulate discussion, and social contact, particularly with older people.

Items should be within living memory, such as pop music 45 records from the 1960’s, or magazines from that era, or toys or small ornaments/tools. If you think you might have something interesting/suitable to donate, phone Mike Kelly on 01563 830147 or email mkelly.builddesign@btinternet.com.
