Sailing through Life

The speaker at the Rotary of Club on 30^th January was Jonny Cormack of ‘Blackwell Sailing, who gave an illustrated presentation entitled ‘Sailing through Life’. He gave a potted history  of his sailing experiences with blind people, covering  many years. He eventually crewed with the GB blind sailing team at various world championship events, with it finally cumulating in winning a gold medal in 2017. He now is involved in the charity, ‘Blackwell Sailing’ which specialises in helping totally blind and vision impaired people.
