Rotary Club of Iyaganku-Ibadan Annual Dental Mission
The 2025/26 Dental program of the Rotary Club of Iyaganku-Ibadan takes place in between Monday 22th and Wednesday 24th December and will be partly funded by Darwen Rotary.
The 2022 Dental program of the Rotary Club of Iyaganku-Ibadan took place in December between Tuesday 26/12 and Wednesday 27/12 even though public enlightenment in religious places and community based organization and mobilization of the children spanned through Sunday to Monday before the main program.
It was tagged Child Dental Mission with focus and emphasis being on children between the ages of 6 and 16 years.The program includes Enlightenment and Mobilisation, Dental Health Education, Dental Examination and Treatment, Counselling and referral to higher centres for subsidized management.
The children all came from the neighborhood and also remote places to the Rotary Youth Centre which was the venue of the program, a building gifted to the community by the Rotary Club of Iyaganku/Ibadan, for youth programs.
The Dental Team consists of Three Dentists, a Dental Hygienist and Two Dental Nurses.
Darwen Rotary contributed to the cost of running these clinics.

The 2023 program ran 20th till 22nd December
The 2024/25 program ran 20th and 22nd February
This year’s mission is scheduled for Monday through Wednesday, 22nd-24th December 2025. In addition to the regular dental outreach, they are excited to introduce a Father Christmas Grotto Stand, where children can enjoy a festive experience and receive small gifts. They believe this addition will bring joy, encourage participation, and create a warm, memorable atmosphere for families.
