The Santa who decided to dash!

No Santa Dash but one brave soul still raised some money
As reported elsewhere the Santa Dash in Barrow park had to be called off due to the weather conditions, but one intrepid sole decided to take her chance, and this is her story:
Hello Everyone,
Sadly this year's Santa Dash was cancelled due to icy paths. However I have managed to do my Santa Dash in my favourite outdoor environment with all the right gear.
After several discussions with both St Mary’s Hospice and Furness Rotary I was given their approval. So I travelled to Coniston and did my Santa Dash up the Coppermines Valley and the snowy hills beyond.
The just giving page continues to be open till 22nd December 2022. Many thanks to all the people who have donated to St Mary’s Hospice.
Glad I gave lots of Coniston villagers and hikers a good laugh.
