Louise Finlay is an enthusiastic volunteer for 'Red Bags Full of Joy', a charity which helps children in poverty across SW Scotland. Louise is shown here, fittingly dressed in red, with Prestwick and Troon Rotarians.
The charity is also known as 'Night before Christmas' and started 8 years ago, delivering 90 Christmas boxes to children. Last year they delivered 5,000 boxes. This year that number will be exceeded, to meet an increased demand, as a recession sets in. Rotarian Stephen Cooper at Prestwick Post Office has red bags for filling with gifts.
Filled bags can be left at The Post Office for collection. Information is there on what to fill red bags with - such as toiletries. a story book and toys. This charity is achieving great things, with 130 volunteers working hard sorting and packing bags.

Kate Sweeny called it an amazing charity in her vote of thanks to Louise for an inspired presentation. www.nightbeforechristmas.co.uk.
