The speaker at the meeting of Kendal Rotary on 21st November was John Sellar, one of their own members. He regaled us with a fascinating talk outlining his career in dentistry. He was a well-known dentist with his own practice in Kendal, but on retirement, having sold the business, and became very interested in forensic dentistry, in particularly in identifying bodies. Over the years he attended numerous locations around the world wherever their had been a major disaster, such as plane crashes, earthquakes and also the Indonesian tsunami. He is well respected and is till active when called for.
