Lighting Up Prestwick

Prestwick Rotary be involved again with "Lighting Up Prestwick" on Sunday 27th November. The Rotary Club of Prestwick members know that one very important special guest will be there. We have invited Santa Claus to occupy his grotto, ready to meet his young visitors.

He will be helped by hard working Rotary elves. The Grotto will either be under the canopy of The Broadway Cinema on Prestwick Main Street, or in Boydfield Gardens. Both are very convenient locations. Please pay him a visit.
No charge is made to see Santa, but a Rotary charity bucket is there to take any voluntary donations. Prestwick folk, and visitors, are very generous, and all the money raised will be passed on to local good causes.

Santa then makes his way to the stage to switch on the lights. He has used a fire engine in the past, which is very exciting. It is wonderful that Santa can spend time in Prestwick, when his winter schedule is so busy.

In addition to hosting Santa, Prestwick Rotarians intend to have a charity bottle stall. We will also take the opportunity to sell off Old Prestwick photographs from our exhibition. Again, all monies raised will go to local good causes.
Pictures show Prestwick Rotarian Edith with Santa and Rotarians manning the Tombola Stall in the past.
