WHO ARE FRIENDS OF ROTARY?

Men and women who live or work in or near Llandudno and who wish to support what their local Rotary Club does but prefer not to commit themselves to any regular expense or activity

WHAT DOES ROTARY DO?

·       Rotary is one of the world's leading membership and humanitarian service organisations, with 1.4 million members globally. Members of Rotary volunteer their time to make a difference in their local communities and around the world. Llandudno is one of 46,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide

WHY HAVE I GOT THIS INFORMATION?

·       This could be because you have:

> supported us in the past

> attended one of our events

> Helped us on one or more of our activities

OR

> you're a friend or neighbour of a Rotarian

> you follow Llandudno Rotary on Twitter or Facebook

WILL IT COST ME MONEY?

·       NO! - all we want to know is that we have your support and can keep you up to speed with what we get up to, with the occasional e-mail

WHAT ARE YOU ASKING ME TO DO?

All we ask is that you agree to go on our e-mailing list

We can then tell you what we are planning and invite you to take part in anything that captures your interest

There's no pressure - just an opportunity

WHAT DO I GET IN RETURN?

> a Newsletter to alert you to what Llandudno Rotary is doing and planning to do

> a standing invitation to attend and/or be involved in any of our events

> insurance cover from Rotary, should you volunteer to help us

> an invitation for you and a spouse/friend to attend any of our social events, including our Annual Charter Night and District Conference

WHY CAN'T I BE A MEMBER OF ROTARY?

No reason at all - in fact, we'd love that!

We recognise, however, that there are many people who are sympathetic to what Rotary does but who are not looking for the level of commitment that membership involves, namely £110 a year and attending at least half of our weekly meetings

Do sign up and join - we're hoping you will be one of perhaps a hundred or so special people who support Rotary and want to show that support
